Second Week of Exhibition - October 24th-30th
The second week of Romanian Roots European Branches started with a fresh Romanian apple-pie, in-house cooked, using apples brought from Romania.
From Monday to Saturday many visitors came along to see the exhibition and there written impressions can tell about how they enjoyed what they saw.
Many thanks to
- St Peter's Anglican Church for being such a perfect host for our exhibition
- Kent's International Arts Festival for including us in their program and therefore allowing us to show a bit of Romanian tradition flavor to the locals and to the visitors as well
- CURSS (Canterbury University Romanian Students Society) for helping us to organize the exhibition
- http://www.romani-online.co.uk/ for helping us to promote the event
- Our sponsors:
- everybody who took some time to visit and share their impressions

It's a long way to Canterbury
The team - Adina, Gabriel and Orlando - left Bucharest, on Friday, 15'th of October, at noon, with a part of the exhibits.
We reached Cluj Napoca in the evening and took from here the rest of the luggage needed for our trip, and also took a nap at our dear friend Erika.
Early in the morning, we joined Sergiu and fulfilled his car at the maximum with art exhibits and other stuff and began the great advanture.
During 25 hours we crossed Europe from Romania to Canterbury, passing through Hungary, Austria, Germany, Belgium and France.
A wonderful sunrise was waiting for us in Calais, before boarding in the train for the euro-tunnel passage to England.
Lot of thanks to all our friends who made this trip possible!
